WEBER

In Weber's articles, Max looks a class and the social structures that surrounds them. Weber begins to explain how social class are divided and what makes certain individuals of certain class. In "The Basic Concepts of Sociology", Weber defines sociology through science and explains it like a cause and effect idea. He looks at meaning and explains this science so others can see it in different class's perspectives and feel what others are going through in each class.

In Weber's other article "Class, Status, and Party", he explains three types are social structure: economics, social, and political. Weber believes that having the social power is almost like attempting to gain social honor. Through "class", Weber breaks it down into propertied and laborers, "Status" is ethnicity and religious groups and lastly "Party" which we based on status and class. It is believed by Weber that one's class eventually decides what social status one will become.

I found Weber's writings to be quite interesting. Especially how he breaks the social structures into three different categories. I must say I kind of agree with Weber when he says that one's class eventually decides what social status they will become. To me for example, in today's society people with a higher income (class) are subjected and expected to have a higher social status. Overall Weber really divided all of these concepts into many questionable ideas and beliefs.

The only question or actually I should say disagreement is that with authority. I do not agree with Weber's beileifs that everything he explains can be classified as authority just because a certain person or higher "class" members decides on a decision.
