Personally I think that communism can work, and can be very effective; however with the way that people are i don't think the system could survive. Marx and Engel were definitely on to something but could not make it work. When i think of communism i think of the men who were high in command that tried to make it work one specifically that i am reminded of is Che Guevara. His ultimate goal was to end poverty and this is a possibility if the communist system is carried out correctly. Im not really sure that we will ever see this system work properly, and i think no matter what when people here the word communism they will think negatively.

Communist Manifesto
In the first two chapters of the Communist Manifesto the manifesto examines closely the bourgeois and the proletarians, and the proletarians relationship with the communist party. The bourgeois are clearly seen as the more powerful of the two. They played a revolutionary role throughout history and maintained their power. The bourgeois of this time was the direct product of multiple revolutions and the rate at which they produced and exchanged products had increased. When the markets and demand were increasing something had to happen, and that was the industrial revolution. This was when the modern bourgeois came into play. The bourgeois exploit the proletariats and force them to sell them their labor. According to Marx the proletarian attempt to rise above the bourgeois was different than any other social movement because it was a movement of the majority. The civilization of a nation creates more of a dependance on the bourgeois, and it increased political centralization.
